The National Women’s Month Celebration was a vibrant and meaningful month-long event that brought together women from all 25 barangays, united in the spirit of empowerment, culture, and community. The celebration opened with a lively showcase of cultural dances, classic Pinoy games, and the much-anticipated Gng. KALIPI pageant—highlighting the talent, confidence, and beauty of women across the community.
Throughout the month, participants actively engaged in a series of impactful workshops designed to promote holistic empowerment. Each week featured two sessions covering essential topics such as Waste Management, Proper Diet and Nutrition, Basic First Aid, and Gardening, among others. These workshops equipped women with practical knowledge and skills that they can apply in their daily lives, further strengthening their roles in their families and communities.
Women from various barangays and organizations came together to learn, share, and support one another—creating a strong sense of unity and collaboration. The consistent participation and enthusiasm reflected a shared commitment to growth and empowerment.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Ma'am Rose, our dedicated Focal Person, and Mary Cornelio, for providing us the opportunity to be part of this impactful initiative and for leading the success of this month-long celebration.
Indeed, the National Women’s Month Celebration was more than just a series of events—it was a powerful reminder of what women can achieve when they come together with purpose, passion, and unity.
