Women RISE joyfully celebrated Galentine’s Day, dedicating a special time just for the amazing ladies of the community. The celebration was held at Shakey's SM San Jose del Monte, where laughter, connection, and heartfelt moments filled the day.
The gathering went beyond celebration—it became a safe and meaningful space for testimonials and group sharing. As stories unfolded, emotions ran deep. Tears came rushing, but so did compassion, as each woman stood beside one another, offering comfort, understanding, and strength in the midst of personal challenges. It was a powerful reminder that no one has to face their struggles alone.
To add energy and excitement, the group was divided into two teams for an impromptu talent showcase. What followed was a burst of creativity, confidence, and joy—highlighting the unique gifts and personalities within the Women RISE community.
The day was made even more special through thoughtful tokens of appreciation. Our Founder, Avic Herrera, shared calming scented candles, symbolizing peace and self-care, while our Program Director, Angie Paranada, gifted beautiful mobile charms—simple yet meaningful reminders of connection and positivity.
Indeed, it was a fun-filled and heartwarming day—one that celebrated friendship, vulnerability, and the true essence of sisterhood. Through moments of laughter and tears, Women RISE continues to build a community where every woman is supported, valued, and empowered.
